Lily Beach Resort & Spa
Overview
Lily Beach Resort & Spa occupies Huvahendhoo, a private island in South Ari Atoll surrounded by white-sand beaches, clear Indian Ocean water and a lively house reef. Approximately 25 minutes by seaplane from Malé, it combines a relaxed tropical setting with a polished all-inclusive experience for couples, honeymooners and families.
Best known for its Platinum Plan, the resort pairs a comprehensive premium all-inclusive stay with accommodation ranging from garden-fringed Beach Villas and spacious family options to private-pool residences and overwater villas. Seven restaurants and bars offer international buffets, Thai and Indian flavours, teppanyaki, contemporary fine dining, poolside lunches and relaxed cocktails.
The surrounding house reef and South Ari Atoll create exceptional opportunities for snorkelling, diving and encounters with whale sharks and manta rays. Back on the island, Tamara Spa, guided yoga, sports facilities and the Turtle Kids Club balance wellness, recreation and family time, while private beach weddings and vow renewals provide a romantic setting for special celebrations.

Platinum All-Inclusive Experience: Lily Beach’s signature Platinum Plan brings together premium dining, drinks and island activities in one comprehensive stay. Guests can enjoy international buffets and à-la-carte options, more than 80 selected wines from around the world, cocktails and other beverages across the resort, a replenished minibar, complimentary snorkelling equipment and non-motorised water sports. Each guest may also choose three included activities during the stay from Coral Garden snorkelling, a fishing trip, a sunset cruise and a local-island visit.
Whale Shark & Manta Ray Ocean Adventure: Set out by speedboat into South Ari Atoll, an area renowned for its resident whale sharks and encounters with manta rays. The experience offers the chance to enter the water and swim near these graceful, harmless ocean giants under the guidance of the excursion team. Sightings and swimming opportunities depend on weather, sea conditions and the natural movements of wildlife, making every trip a genuine ocean search rather than a staged encounter.
House-Reef Snorkelling & South Ari Diving: Discover the coral reef encircling Huvahendhoo, known for its abundant tropical fish and easily accessible snorkelling. Guided house-reef tours begin with a shallow-water introduction, while Coral Garden trips travel a few minutes by dhoni to another colourful reef. Divers can join Prodivers for beginner programmes or regular activities for qualified guests, with more than 50 nearby South Ari Atoll dive sites featuring coral formations, wrecks, varied marine life and seasonal manta-ray and whale-shark encounters.
